2019 MIT Welcome Letter

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Meditation Instructor Training – Online.

This certification course includes a combination of live online classes, daily videos, guided meditations, teaching practicum, and journal reflections.

Listed below are some steps to complete before our orientation meeting held on Saturday, September 14, at 10am Pacific Time. We strongly advise your live attendance in order to get the most out of this course. Those who must miss a live online class and who wish to be certified will need to contact the organizers at Info@BuddhistYogis.org and make-up the class either through private tutoring or extra community service hours.

If You Miss Some, or All, of the Orientation*
The orientation class will be recorded and added to the MIT page within 24 hours.

*In order to receive the credits for certification for the training and to graduate, you will need to watch the video and make comments relevant to each portion of the video in the comments section.  (There will also be a quiz sent out that will include questions about the orientation, so you will be tested!)

For any further Live Group Sessions, if a portion must be missed, then the time must be made up in private sessions with the facilitators, or via extra community service hours. Please see the FAQ section at the bottom of the MIT Info page: https://ngakpa.org/meditation-teacher-training/
