The Ngakpa Seminary offers in-depth study of the Ngakpa tradition for serious students over five years. It focuses on an in-depth study of Vajrayana Buddhist history, philosophy and practice focusing on the Inner Tantras of the Nyingma Tradition, also known as MahaYoga, AnuYoga and Dzogchen. The class meets once a month via the web, in addition to reading assignments, practice requirements, oral presentations and debates on Buddhist philosophy.

Upon completing the first two years, the students are qualified to lead four Introduction to Buddhism courses and act as mentors in the Vajrayana Training. Graduates of the course who have completed Ngondro are qualified to teach an Introduction to Buddhism curriculum composed of eight classes and may apply for ordination in the Ngakpa Tradition.
